After learning from the newspapers the news of the decision of the Municipality of Rimini to privatize and contract award in the school meals system of kindergartens and nurseries in Rimini, as presidents of the parents of the schools involved , have decided to meet to take stock of the situation, to deepen our understanding of each other and to oppose forcefully and decisively to the decision of the City.
We first met Monday, May 18 at 21 and was attended by representatives of the following schools (in order of pure signature of the document): Asylum Cub, Rainbow, Wisteria, San Lorenzo in Correggio, Ladybug, Santa Giustina, Dolphin, Ginestra - Montecieco, Peter Pan, The Eaglet - Santa Aquilina, Daisy, Tom Thumb, Doremi, Scribble, Swallow, Seagull, Hamlet, Spadarolo, Blue Island, Sailing, Galeone, Flight , Wandering .
The story: The
all started with the trade unions call on April 20. At that moment it was announced to the three trade unions (CGIL - CISL - UIL) the idea of \u200b\u200boutsourcing the service of school meals in the kitchens of some school buildings of kindergartens and nurseries municipal. The service will then contracted with a formula of 3 years more tacit renewal of other 3 years or companies that will win their calls.
Unions have proved in the compact say it does not agree with this statement , legally due, but without that there was a confrontation or a serious negotiation with stakeholders.
The tender will be banned for an amount of 4 million 140 thousand euro about, which is the figure that currently the City of Rimini for the system of allocating school meals for 3 years.
The first thing we all thought is where is the gain in an operation that subcontracts for the same number as the current system.

This was not conducted in order to contain expenditure but only in anticipation of the adoption by the Government of a law that REQUIRES municipalities to comply with the ceiling of a maximum of 30% of staff costs on the total budget of the municipality. We are also informed by a law firm that handled a similar situation in other municipalities with more than positive outcome. On 4 May I had an appointment with Dr. Mazzotti I replied saying that the kitchen is the flagship of our system and I had ensured that the kitchen would not touch (although the resolution that we mentioned earlier was !!!).

Perhaps there are other ways to prevent and remedy this situation in a constructive and satisfactory for everyone. Perhaps there may be other opportunities in other sectors that could be outsourced in order to go from 39 to 30% of the total expenditure of staff of the municipal budget.

From now on we are six people that tomorrow there will be four, a reduction of 33%! Reduction comes at the expense of collective service.
Our fear is that if it were to be confirmed this position of the Municipality of Rimini on the system of school meals then we can get in this service to as wide a decrease of staff, or you can come in as other municipalities have to manage the school system with more cooperatives, each operating with its own staff, who with the teachers, who for the meal, some for the assistants, losing the overall synergy of the system that has brought many benefits in the past.
Rumors speak of a list of schools for which you have chosen to outsource the catering system and appear to be: Gabbiano, Galeone and Peter Pan, Margaret, Sailing, Flight, Swallow and glycine, Clover, Ladybug, and Delfino puppy, Firefly .
What can we do?

Friday, May 22, from 8:30 to 10:00 was called by trade unions in a event Piazza Cavour where we discuss these issues, and so We invite everyone to the maximum participation , especially where our children can, in square to express our disagreement . This event is expected to enter kindergarten in some late at 10:30 am which will be announced in the coming days by the school staff.
Not that there is confirmed the possibility of this event and if the position of the City would be even worse than today, reaching a level not to approve a public protest and peaceful.
But in this case we will require constantly to make an event to raise awareness of the problem, until we will be granted.

To date, the Municipality of Rimini has not implemented a proper information campaign, and has established a serious negotiation with us parents that we live in first person the discomfort of this situation. We therefore can face
